Nile College Dispatches Mobile Clinic to Gezira State
The community Health Division of the Nursing Department of Nile College dispatched a mobile clinic to the village of Al-Ireibab in Gezira State. This program constitutes part of the College’s Community Service Initiative. This Mobile Clinic lasted for one week, and provided various health services, such as: courses in first aid, cultural lectures, clinical treatments, and circumcision services. Many General Practitioners and Specialists accompanied the mobile clinic including laboratory specialists and medical specialists form different areas of medicine. The director of the Nursing Program, Dr. Sharaf Al-Deen Mohammed Shu’aib. Confirmed that the Mobile Clinic started with the establishment of Nile College. Over the course of its six years, the mobile clinic has visited many different states within Sudan in order to provide various services using the resources of the College to promoter public health in rural communities.
